Spring Break conjures images of many things to many people but this year it should conjure up images of sand, surf, sun, beach balls and good times.

Spring Break Beach Party @ the SEA ....is almost here and there isn't much time to waste in marking your calendar for February 23, 2008. The Party begins around 6:30 pm and by the end of the night you will have "Beach Baby, Beach Baby here on the sand...floating through your mind as you get ready for your own Spring Break. Let us get you primed and ready for taking off to an island or fabulous vacation spot by the sea.

Each year the auction committee works hard to bring you the best food, the coolest drinks and the most unique and impressive treasures to view. Beach Party specialty foods will be provided this year by Thrills from the Grill.

While they're setting up the beach, the auction team, headed by Nikki Dunn, will be trying their best to bring in wonderful items for you to enjoy at the silent auction islands and live auction floating stage. Leland Little joins us again to celebrate our 11th year and will do his best to make things exciting. Please contact Nikki if you have ideas for auction items or check out the on-line donation page if you already have something in mind.

Our auction events are always meant to celebrate and promote our school-community and their success. Come join your new and old friends for this very special evening. All we ask is that you arrive by 6:30 pm to join CA parents, staff and alumni on Saturday, February 23, 2008 for an evening of funraising, fundraising and friendraising. Even better, invite a few neighbors who like a good beach party to join us, anyone 21 or older is welcome!

This year the PTAA will sponsor over 100 programs, events, grants and scholarships with a budget of $141,000. The auction is our only fundraiser and the PTAA's ability to continue to offer these programs is directly dependent on it's success. We have room for 450 Annette and Frankie wannabees, so don't delay with your reply when your invitation arrives in mid January. We're anticipating a "Beachy" good time.

As always your PTAA will do its best to prepare the party of the year and make you glad you came to the 11th Annual Benefit Auction, so get your surf board waxed, your tan perfect, and join us at this most important event.
